Abstract

This study aimed to identify the general concept of management as a collective human activity designed to achieve specific results through organized, planned, and coordinated efforts. It explored the historical evolution of management from a mere activity to a formal science, highlighting its pivotal role in maintaining and developing the environment by leveraging competent human and material resources to ensure operational continuity and effectiveness. Furthermore, the study examined the administrative role in enhancing institutional productivity by utilizing human and natural capabilities and developing innovative methods. Utilizing a descriptive-analytical approach, the study reviewed relevant scientific literature to derive clear conclusions. The findings indicate that management plays a prominent role in boosting productivity through the effective practice of fundamental administrative functions: planning, organizing, directing, and controlling. These functions collectively contribute to optimal resource utilization, improved performance, and the creation of a positive work environment that fosters job satisfaction and motivation. The study concludes by recommending the provision of necessary resources, the implementation of training programs to develop workforce skills, and continuous performance monitoring to ensure enhanced quality and productivity.
