Repository and Self-Archiving Policy
The Comprehensive Journal of Humanities and Educational Studies (CJHES) encourages authors to archive their research and is fully committed to the principles of open access and the wide dissemination of scholarly work. This policy outlines the journal's stance on version control and self-archiving.
1. Author's Archiving Rights
Authors publishing with CJHES are permitted and encouraged to self-archive their submitted and published work. The following versions of the manuscript can be deposited in an institutional repository, on a personal website, or in an academic social networking site (such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu):
-
Pre-print: The pre-print is the original version of the manuscript before peer review. Authors may archive this version at any time. We encourage authors to link the pre-print to the final published article.
-
Post-print: The post-print is the version of the manuscript that has been accepted for publication, including all changes made as a result of the peer-review process, but not yet formatted by the journal's production team. Authors may archive this version immediately upon acceptance.
-
Publisher's PDF (Final Published Version): The publisher's PDF is the final, typeset version of the article as it appears in the journal. Authors may archive this version immediately upon publication.
2. Conditions for Archiving
When self-archiving, authors are requested to acknowledge CJHES as the original publisher and to provide a link to the final published article on the journal's website. This ensures that the published version is citable and that all readers can easily find the definitive version of the work. The journal's open-access license, Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), governs the use of all archived versions. By adhering to this policy, CJHES supports the academic community by ensuring that research is as accessible and discoverable as possible.
