This study aimed to identify the educational problems facing special education female teachers in centers for persons with disabilities in the city of Benghazi, across four main dimensions: problems related to curricula and instructional aids, problems related to the school and center environment, problems related to professional competencies and training, and problems related to administrative and family support. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology. The sample consisted of 68 special education female teachers working in centers for persons with disabilities in Benghazi, selected through simple random sampling. A 40-item questionnaire distributed across four domains was developed, and its validity and reliability were verified. The results revealed that the educational problems facing special education female teachers were generally high, with the curricula and instructional aids domain ranking first (M = 4.12, 82.4%), followed by professional competencies and training (M = 3.98, 79.6%), the school and center environment (M = 3.87, 77.4%), and administrative and family support (M = 3.76, 75.2%). No statistically significant differences (α ≤ 0.05) were found attributable to academic qualification or years of experience. The study recommended developing curricula for disability centers and equipping them with modern technological instructional aids, intensifying specialized in-service training programs, improving the physical environment of centers and providing equipped resource rooms, and strengthening administrative and family support for special education teachers.
