This research addresses the "Explanation of Al-Hudayri's Poetic Composition on the Rites of Hajj," by Sheikh Ali bin Abi Bakr Al-Hudayri (d. 1061 AH), as a work aimed at reviving this system and introducing the Libyan heritage and its scholars. The explanation begins by analyzing the composer's introduction and praise of God, and moves to detail the rituals starting with the state of Ihram from the Miqat with Ifrad (Hajj performed singly) , mentioning the Sunan (recommended acts) before Ihram such as bathing , the Talbiyah (chanting) , the obligatory Tawaf Al-Qudum (Tawaf of Arrival) , and Sa'y (running between Safa and Marwa) as the second pillar for those coming from outside Mecca. It then details the rituals of the major Hajj days: heading to Mina on the Day of Tarwiyah , the Standing at Arafah (the greatest pillar) , departing to Muzdalifah and spending the night there , then returning to Mina on the Day of Sacrifice for stoning the Jamrat Al-Aqabah , offering sacrifices, the minor disengagement from Ihram (Al-Tahallul Al-Asghar) , and the major disengagement by Tawaf Al-Ifadah (Tawaf of Departure) which completes the pillars of Hajj. The research concludes by explaining the return to Mina to spend the nights of Tashreeq and stoning the three Jamarat as a Sunnah.
