This study aims to propose a framework for activating the role of social work in preventing drug and psychotropic substance trafficking within the university campus. Using a descriptive approach, the study explored the underlying causes of this phenomenon from the perspective of students at the Faculty of Education, Zaytuna University (n=26). The results indicated that personal, familial, and social factors significantly contribute to the phenomenon, with a lack of religious awareness, bad company, and weak family monitoring identified as primary drivers. The study found no statistically significant differences based on gender, while differences appeared based on the academic semester. The proposed framework focuses on early detection, raising awareness, and community partnership. Recommendations emphasize strengthening family monitoring, implementing rigorous legal deterrents, and establishing social work offices within universities.
