Abstract

This research examines Sheikh Muhammad Al-Mutawalli Al-Sha'rawi's reflections on the interpretation of Surat Ad-Duha, emphasizing the psychological, educational, and spiritual dimensions. The study aims to clarify Al-Sha'rawi's methodology, which integrates traditional interpretation (Tafsir al-Ma'thur) with linguistic and rhetorical analysis to address contemporary issues. The researcher highlights how Al-Sha'rawi demonstrates the Qur'an's ability to reassure the soul by recalling past divine favors—such as shelter, guidance, and enrichment—to strengthen trust in God and foster hope for the future. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the moral and social directives within the Surah, specifically the care for orphans and kindness toward the needy, showing how these values contribute to building a cohesive society. Through a descriptive-analytical approach, the research concludes that Al-Sha'rawi’s reflections serve as a vital reference in modern Qur'anic studies, successfully bridging classical heritage with modern reality.
