Islamic Endowments and Their Impact on the Economy and Society: An Analytical Islamic Perspective

Abstract

This research examines the concept of Waqf (endowment) in Islamic jurisprudence by clarifying its linguistic and technical meanings and outlining the evidence for its legality. It also sheds light on the Islamic perspective regarding the legislation of Waqf, illustrating the issue of Islamic endowment between theoretical philosophy and practical perfection. Furthermore, the study explores the ways in which Islam preserves societies through Waqf, as well as the impact and role of endowments in serving the Muslim community according to Sharia theory. One of the reasons that grant this subject its significance is its connection to the documentation of Waqf from the perspective of Islamic Law.
