Abstract

The science of Quranic drawing is one of the most significant fields associated with the Holy Book of Allah, representing a monumental historical document authenticated by twelve thousand companions. This research aims to clarify the concept of Quranic drawing and its origins, while highlighting the precision of the methodology used in writing the Mushafs. It specifically addresses the relationship between Arabic script and Uthmanic drawing, tracing the history of Quranic compilation from the era of Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq to the reign of Uthman bin Affan. Furthermore, the study adopts an inductive and analytical approach to refute the misconceptions and claims raised by certain orientalists regarding the integrity and history of the Quranic text. The findings emphasize the continuity and divine preservation of the Quranic script as a foundational basis for Arabic orthography.
