Discrimination against persons with disabilies and the role of the international convention in confronting it from a social work perspective

The aim of the research is to identify discrimination against persons with disabilities and the role of the International Convention for Persons with Disabilities in confronting it and its link to the profession of social work in preventing discrimination based on the descriptive approach, and reached the results of them, that the International Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities conforms to the philosophy and principles of the profession that discrimination against any person on the basis of disability is a violation of the dignity and inherent value of the individual, and recommended obliging the signatory and ratifying states of the Convention to adhere to its provisions, and the preparation of training courses for social workers working in institutions Care for people with disabilities about the International Convention and ways to confront discrimination.
