This research paper analyzes the soft power strategy adopted by the Islamic Republic of Iran in its foreign policy during the first decade of the Islamic Revolution (1979-1989) under the leadership of Imam Ayat Allah Khomeini. The research aims to examine the cultural, religious, and media tools employed by Tehran to expand its regional and international influence, disseminate its revolutionary model based on the principle of "Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist" (Welayat-el Faqih), export the revolution, and challenge Western hegemony amidst highly complex domestic and regional circumstances.
