This study aims to investigate the role of digital libraries in developing school curricula from the perspective of secondary school teachers in Gharyan Municipality, Libya. It seeks to identify the key challenges hindering their implementation and propose effective solutions for their integration into the educational environment. The study employed a descriptive-analytical methodology, using a questionnaire distributed to a sample of 200 secondary school teachers. The questionnaire covered five main dimensions: level of awareness and experience, requirements for implementation, the role of digital libraries in the educational process, obstacles, and suggested improvements. The findings revealed that awareness and experience levels among teachers range from moderate to low. However, most teachers emphasized the necessity of technical infrastructure, high-speed internet, continuous training, and IT specialists as fundamental requirements. The study concluded with several recommendations, most notably the importance of investing in digital infrastructure and organizing specialized training programs to enhance teachers' digital literacy and support curriculum modernization.
