Abstract

Abstract The current study aimed to identify the relationship between psychological hardiness and psychological adjustment among a sample of faculty members at the College of Education at Bani Walid University. The descriptive correlational method was used, and the study sample consisted of 129 faculty members selected randomly. Two scales were utilized: a psychological hardiness scale consisting of 46 items and a psychological adjustment scale consisting of 44 items, after verifying their validity and reliability. The results showed a statistically significant positive correlation between psychological hardiness and psychological adjustment among the study sample, with a correlation coefficient of 0.659. The findings indicated that the study sample possessed high levels of both psychological hardiness and psychological adjustment. The study recommended enhancing psychological support and professional training for faculty members.
