Abstract

This study aimed to explore the engineering of administrative functions and identify the level of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) in institutional performance. It further sought to plan the structural path for transforming the nature of functional work and its relationship with professional performance, using HEC-Tchad University as a case study. Formerly known as the Higher Institute of Economic, Commercial, Accounting, and Communication Studies (founded in 2003), the institution reflects the evolution of administrative function engineering. While this concept is long-standing, it has acquired a modern character due to technological advancements and the integration of modern administrative techniques. These factors have significantly contributed to reshaping organizational structures, enhancing functional tasks and authorities, and modifying various management departments. Consequently, engineering administrative functions has become a necessity for the success and sustainability of organizations in general, and educational institutions in particular. The researchers employed a descriptive-analytical approach, utilizing SPSS for data analysis of questionnaire results, Microsoft Word for data interpretation and explanation, and Microsoft Excel for generating charts and graphical representations (cubes and circles). The study concludes with several key results and recommendations.
